Meet the Robinsons

Image
Today I bought the movie, Meet The Robinsons , at Best Buy for $14.99 plus tax and in the evening the Moses family-minus Michelle and Patricia since they went to a Southern Living House Party- watched the whole movie. I really like the Disney movie since it is funny, touchy, imaginative, great graphics and overall a good plot. I first watched movie on American Airlines flight to Seattle from Dallas . It reminded that I was fortunate to know my parents, see their love for me and live with them. My kids are fortunate to know their parents (Michelle and myself) who dearly love them (even if they spill water on our laptop - see Michelle's blog entry ). Orphans or foster care kids have a harsh life and we should show Christ's love to them. Parents, please "Meet the Robinsons" by renting this movie. I recommend it. I also like the song on the YouTube video since it talks about kids! (Don't play it if you are planning to see the movie).

The Moses Bust!

Why is it that every year my first round draft pick in Flast Fest Fantasy Football League is a bust? Here is a list of busts I have had: Priest Holmes - He was hurt that year Jamal Lewis - His first year out of prison and boy was he terrible LaMont Jordan - Two words - Art Shell - Al Davis thought he could get retro with his team Laurence Maroney - He is currently hurt this year. Journey Man and backup - Sammy Morris is having a better year. How bad is that? Anyway next year, I am going to pick Baltimore defense since I have been ridiculed in my league ever since I picked Baltimore defense in the sixth round. Christian and gang please give up. I am better than that (other than my history of first round picks). Next year I heading to Barbados with my family and Kevin and Sadiqq can pick my team. Well that's all for now and I had to relay my anguish on my first round picks. I feel like the LA Clippers or the Arizona Cardinals who are historical losers! Oh well live goes on

At peace with Computer Science

For the last few weeks and months, I have finally decided what I want to do with my career. I am happy with my decision. For the past years, I was at a crossroads with my career. I enjoyed writing java software, XML schemas, database work and others however I felt that I was not getting a chance to implement my ideas. Recently I have been reading Google employees' white papers and just researching new technologies, new methodologies and new ideas. It has been a long time since I have been passionate about something. I realized that I can actually use my undergraduate training, which I gained when I got my B.S. Chemistry from University of Kansas (KU) . The ability to do experiments, apply statistical methods to create math functions, writing white papers. I have always been a fan of theory and a study in abstract topics. At KU, my favorite chemistry class was Quantum Chemistry where we constantly proved complex math equations for abstract theories. I also enjoy math like c

Yesterday...

Yesterday my wife Michelle and I celebrated our 5th year anniversary of our marriage. It's been five years of bliss. I am content with what the Lord has blessed me with. A beautiful and healthy family of a wife and three little munchkins. I cannot even believe my oldest is 4 years old. Hey Tabitha slowed down alittle will ya! During the last five years, I have seen my family grown and the Lord providing during this whole time. Only His blessing. As my wife and I look forward to the next five, ten, fifteen, twenty years of our marriage, we know that we need to trust in Christ, each other and pray daily for wisdom for the daily trials of life. Michelle, If you are reading this entry then I have to say I am a happy man who has been blessed by God our Lord Jesus Christ. I had a great time in the last five years and I am looking forward to spend the rest of my life with you. Love, Enoch Moses

And now finally...

After creating a new blog for my technical blurbs, I can now go back to blogging the other things going on in my life. Here is a list: Sucker in Fantasy Football - I am currently in three fantasy football leagues and I am not happy with my teams. I have underachieving, mediocre, injured or good running backs on bad offenses. My wide receivers have been extremely inconsistent and my quarterbacks have been pass happy because their offenses cannot run the ball. The consistent positions are kickers (I have Neil Rackers and others), tight-ends and team defenses. For the last four years, my first round pick has been a bust. Seriously, my first round pick curse is worst than the Madden Football curse. Here is a recap of my terrible first round picks: Priest Holmes (2004) - He was hurt most of the year Jamal Lewis (2005) - He just got out of prison and he had a bad year LaMont Jordan (2006) - Played under Art Shell and Shell's 1990 offense (need I say more) Laurence Maroney
