Who are your top ten POTUS' on Presidents Day

After reading the article,
Presidential experts rank Biden 14th among presidents in survey, Trump comes in last by Siock (2024), I was curious about the details of the survey.

According to the Official Results of the 2024 Presidential Greatness Project Expert Survey (Rottinghaus & Vaughn, 2024), the top ten US Presidents are:

  1. Abraham Lincoln
  2. Franklin Delano Roosevelt
  3. George Washington
  4. Theodore Roosevelt
  5. Thomas Jefferson
  6. Harry Truman
  7. Barack Obama
  8. Dwight David Eisenhower
  9. Lyndon Baines Johnson
  10. John Fitzgerald Kennedy

Donald Trump is listed as the worst president. Overall, I disagree with the list because I don't envision Theodore Roosevelt, Obama, or Kennedy being the top ten presidents. Lincoln, FDR, Washington, Truman, Eisenhower, LBJ, Monroe, and Jackson scored higher in my book because they led the US during war times.  What did Obama do? The jury is still out there for his achievements. I'm not sure why Obama got a Nobel Peace Prize during the start of his presidency. I rank Biden higher than Obama because he is leading a divided nation by achieving results. People say he is old, but so was Ronald Reagan. Why did John Kennedy make the top ten? He got lucky with the Cuban Missile Crisis, and he squandered Cuba after Eisenhower. I would have James Madison in the top ten since he was one of the primary authors of the US Constitution.

I recently finished reading biographies from George Washington to Andrew Jackson. Hopefully, you are pondering about our great leaders as we reflect on our leaders and our nation today, our Presidents Day.
