Who should I vote for?

Image
I have been following the candidates for next year's Presidential Election and I cannot pick any candidate since my views are split across Right and Left. Therefore I have decided the candidates should convince me who I should vote for. This is my stance on the issues. War in Iraq The candidate I pick should have a realistic plan on how and when we should pull our troops from the hostile land. I would like see time frames, strategies, how to deal with risks and save our nation money. Environment As I write this blog, I am alarmed on how fast our environment is deteratoring. I want to see some valid plans from the next president. I have been disappointed how Bush has treated this issue. Oil isn't everything. I would like to see Al Gore involved in this area. Immigration Yes I am a first generation immigrant. I realize that it is not easy to set roots in this country which I now call "My country". When I came to this country I was legal and I have been legal ever...

Sweet Science

Three weeks ago, I have to say that I saw the best boxing fight ever. The boxing fight was between Joe Calzaghe and Mikkel Kessler . Wow! It was awesome. It wasn't a typical blood and guts fights where fighters show courage, determination and a will to survive. This fight was more in the " sweet science " category. The lighting fast hand speed, power, the body movement, offense, defense, and simply power and determination. It was simply beautiful. If anything is done to perfection. it is a simply a beautiful act where words cannot describe the simplicity, the elegance, and its place in that movement of time. I have to say this fight fit this category. Here is a post fight comments by the HBO team. The video doesn't have any video for the first 24 seconds (just audio).

For the last two weeks, I been working crazy hour (70+ hours a week). It 's a been wild. Even though I have spent so many hours working, I have enjoyed my work. I have working with the Oracle database and various java apis. The part I hate is that I don't get to spend time with my family. My kids are growing up so fast. I am glad this crazy schedule ends this Friday Nov. 15th, 2007. Anyway back to work....
